To cultivate the young minds belonging to different branches of Engineeringdiscipline so that the development of moral character of young engineering students, their work ethics and capacity for problem –solving can be enhanced in order to develop a peaceful and thriving knowledge community.

1. The mandate of the department is to conduct multidisciplinary teaching courses of English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Commerce, Management and some other allied subjects as incorporated in the curriculum of different engineering disciplines.
2. To provide cutting – edge laboratory infrastructure in the department of Physics and Chemistry.

• A state-of-the-art language laboratory is annexed in the department to generate techno-managerial human resource.
